There may be many reasons that a patient or their family fail to respond with needed documents or information. Many patients are of the opinion that they have fulfilled their obligation to the billing process by presenting an insurance card. Others are confused by the billing process or do not know how to obtain the requested documentation. Some of the patients face literacy or language barriers. Some patients, because of work or family obligations, just cannot be contacted during normal business hours Medicare patients may not have the ability, mobility, or faculty to provide the documents or information. Others are uncooperative because they fear that revealing the true circumstances surrounding their injury or illness will expose friends or family to financial liability, or result in higher insurance premiums.

Our staff approaches each patient contact in a professional, sensitive manner, mindful of the fact that how we conduct ourselves reflects upon our client hospitals. Claim Services is staffed early in the morning and late into the evening, Monday through Saturday, in order to ensure contact with those hard-to-reach patients. Our field staff will arrange a visit that best fits the patient’s schedule and ensures that your request is fulfilled. Non-English speaking patients are always contacted by staff members who are fluent in the patient’s primary language. All of these services are conducted in a professional and courteous manner, thus ensuring a continuing positive image of the client hospital. Successful billing at our phase eliminates the need to turn accounts over to an agency or a law firm for collection, thus saving the patient the humiliation and stigma.

Our entire staff is dedicated to service your request. Each account is processed immediately upon our receipt and diligently pursued. Our goal is to provide you with a completed request in less than 30 days of receipt. Individual, expedited requests can be accommodated at no extra charge. You pay only for results. A flat fee is charged only for successfully completed requests.
